Ms. Rosenfeld brings valuable civil litigation experience to Ellis LaVoie Poirier Steinheimer & McGee, LLP with broad-based and balanced litigation skills—in developing cases for efficient trial presentation (and/or disposition via law and motion), in representing clients in bench and jury trials, and in successfully mediating, arbitrating, and/or negotiating settlements in cases warranting resolution at the pre-trial stage.
Ms. Rosenfeld’s litigation background includes handling of general civil litigation in the areas of personal injury, premises liability, product liability, professional malpractice defense (legal/dental professionals), and employment discrimination/wrongful termination.
Professional History
Prior to joining Ellis LaVoie Poirier Steinheimer & McGee, LLP in October of 2009, Ms. Rosenfeld has worked as a civil litigation attorney since 1996, representing both plaintiffs and defendants.
From 1996 to 1999, Ms. Rosenfeld began her legal career as an associate in the Sacramento office of the San Francisco based firm of Murphy, Pearson, Bradley & Feeney. While there, she focused, primarily, on the defense of legal malpractice matters. Beginning in 1999, Ms. Rosenfeld broadened her litigation experience, practicing as an associate attorney with the firm of Jacobson Markham LLP until 2003.
She developed significant case management skills, handling business litigation and personal injury cases, as well as public entity defense--deriving from underlying personal injury and employment matters.
Thereafter, in 2003 and continuing into 2007, Ms. Rosenfeld joined the Sacramento office of the Los Angeles based firm of Robinson Di Lando APLC, practicing in the area of dental malpractice defense. In addition, she was involved in both the litigation work up and mediation aspects of a wide spectrum of personal injury, premises liability, and wrongful termination matters.
